MODS- I am reposting this without calling Stephen Jackson anti-semetic in the title because one of you had said that was the problem with the first posts. Because DeSean’s post was a Hitler quote, it cannot be debated that it wasn’t anti-Semitic and thus I don’t see any possible errors with the title. PLEASE leave this up for discussion. We need some kind of discourse.
I’m amazed and shocked by this. For those who don’t know, DeSean Jackson posted a literal quote from Hitler last night on his Instagram. Stephen Jackson replied with this video today about the whole situation, saying Jackson was “speaking the truth” and trying to get educated. The comments of the post also encourage the same “Jews control everything” hate that have fueled terrors of the past, with Stephen Jackson even replying to one of them.
I’m extremely disappointed by Stephen Jackson (who has been a face of BLM) as well as this not getting traction in the media yet and even getting removed here. We say we are anti-hate but we can’t have double standards when we do so.
