YSK if you are late for something, driving over the speed limit will barely help at all.

I do a lot of delivery driving, sometimes around London, sometimes on the motorways (freeways)

If I’m late and I decide to start speeding I will maybe save 1 minute if that, 100% not worth the potential ramifications

*EDIT in response to a lot of comments, I am not talking about driving in a straight line for 12 hours like a lot of the mathematical comments suggest, I am referring to day to day driving, these mathematical equations that you all keep mentioning do not consider; traffic lights, bends, cameras, pedestrian, driving breaks etc
