TIL when John Candy worked with 1950s icon Maureen O'Hara, he was upset that she was given a tiny trailer. He complained but was told they weren't spending money on "old stars". He responded by giving O'Hara his own trailer and going without one. The studio caved in and got a trailer for each actor.
